Education & Experience
Dr. Strandburg grew up in Perry and graduated from Perry High School in 1994. After high school, he attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry.
Dr. Strandburg attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After graduation, he traveled throughout Georgia offering dental care to patients in nursing homes for one year, and then he was accepted as one of three dentists into an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta.
During his time at the VA Medical Center, Dr. Strandburg received extensive training in dental implants and other complex restorative procedures.
Ultimately, Dr. Strandburg desired to return to Middle Georgia and open his own dental practice. He accomplished this when he purchased his current practice from the retiring Dr. Bruce Shaver in Warner Robins. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Outside of Work
Dr. Strandburg is married to Haley, and they have two sons named Preston and Evan. He loves spending time with his family, and together they attend Southside Baptist Church. He enjoys rooting on the Atlanta Braves and Falcons. He also enjoys live theatre and has been in numerous productions at Perry Players and in Macon. So look out for his next performance in a community play!
