How often should I visit Dr. Mark Strandburg?

Most people visit our office twice a year (about every six months). However, if you have a history of cavities or a high risk of dental disease, we recommend coming in once every three or four months. Remember, especially with dentistry, it’s important to be proactive.

How does your practice handle emergencies?

We understand that mouth injuries occur at all hours of the day. For existing patients, we provide after-hours dental care if an emergency occurs. Simply call our office at 478-287-2179 and you will be given an after-hours number.

What should I do if my child is afraid of the dentist?

We understand that some children have a fear of going to the dentist.  That’s why we offer “happy visits” for kids. The happy visit includes a ride in the dentist chair, watching cartoons while we count teeth, a balloon, and a toy. If your child doesn’t want to leave your side, no problem! You are more than welcome to join in the ride and let the child sit in your lap.
